My name is Mike Doughty and I started this blog to show people how to make healthy meals quickly and easily in order to lose weight and live a healthier life. I was overweight, myself. Before starting on this healthy cooking and eating way of life (I emphasize it is NOT a diet … rather it is a way of life) I was addicted to sugar like so many Americans. I would always rush my meals in favor of convenient foods. So far I have lost about 30 lbs over a period of about 6 months without much effort at all. A reasonably healthy person should lose weight slowly and steadily using a sensible cooking and eating plan.
